## Guest access and accounts

- Ducky Chat can be used for writing, coding, research and everyday problem-solving without signing up or entering a credit card. Usage limits and feature availability may apply.
- Standard chat runs online through Ducky servers and hosted AI providers. Guest access does not mean the AI operates entirely locally or offline.
- Sign in to the same Ducky account to save conversations and access saved chat history across supported devices. Guest chats do not automatically sync between devices.
- An account is required for account-based features such as saved Studio projects and app publishing.
- Guests can generate images with Ducky Cranberry (Harlequin) and choose Add to gallery without signing in. Sharing is opt-in and public.
- Publishing apps to the gallery still requires sign-in.

## Coding and app building

- Ducky Chat writes and explains code.
- Ducky Studio creates and edits multi-file app projects with preview and publishing.
- Codes is the codebase editor inside a Studio app.
- QwackCode generates standalone code files; it is not the Studio app builder.
- Generated code should be reviewed and tested. No universal performance or benchmark claim against other AI products is made.

## AI modes

Ducky is an assistant service using multiple AI providers, not one downloadable foundation model. Product modes include Feather (quick answers), Qwack (everyday chat), CALEX (deeper reasoning) and Kaleidoscope (multi-model debate). Provider models and availability can change.
